Summer has begun, May fun.

This post is just random happenings and everyday life.

Dawsyn talking to the pup.  Thatcher's got a new pup and brought it along.

 Papaw and his baby girl.

We got a little bit of snow in early May.  Brentley once again got to wear the purple snow suit and iley's old pink boots. He was just happy he got to go out!

Our neighbor, Anthony went to church several times with us.  They all managed to keep themselves amused on the long drive.

...and they managed to keep themselves amused before and after church.

Our old neighbor August, He and his family have moved to California for a year.  We miss them so much!

 Varick

Mamma's always the safest place!  Miss our impromptu meetings in the front lawn, Marie!

Shoes for sale!  Wren is always the one with the ideas!

Speech therapy.  Her teacher Jordan always made it fun.

Time to get the cast off.  She was extremely nervous and mistrusting of that saw! Very interested in how it worked, but would much rather have watched it on someone else!

The crusty, smelly, shrunk arm afterwards.

Picking all the dead skin off into the trash can while waiting for the doctor to come check it.

Iley was so glad to finally get to try that cast!  The first few days she was rather jealous that Wren got to wear it.  But after seeing what a pain it was, she got over it.  Wren after the first two days told me it felt better now, she was done with it.  Oh if only it worked like that my love.

and we waited and waited.......so they played doctor........I just wished the real doctor would show up!

and waited..........so they checked out the patients in the next room......a little girl with a cast.  He finally came in and gave her a clean bill of health.  Whew!

This one's for you Gwen!  LOL
What my front yard looked like most of May and June.  Then all of our neighbors moved away and it was very lonely!

Cause you never know when a flash flood may hit!

Anthony, always the creative one.  We never knew what ensemble he would show up in.

I looked out the garage door and this was my view!  Love it.

Pythias had these amazing silver wing things......they were MUCH coveted by her friends!

We had to tie blankets on the others to make wings, but they were sadly unsatisfactory next to the wonder of the silver ones.

I think that's Iley wrapped up in the sheet.  Lest you think she is in distress, there was much giggling coming from it, and much begging.......me next coming from the others.

Ronan, was slung over his shoulder and hauled of amidst muffled shrieks and giggles.

Headed out for a walk.  If I had half of this child's energy, I might me as skinny as she is!

This little cutie wanted her picture taken too.  How could I resist those little beaded braids and smile?

Harrison's 18th Birthday

This is waaaaay late, and I'm sorry but May is going to be a picture overload, so I'm going to break it into several posts to give you all a break.

First up is Harrison's 18th Birthday.  I'm so proud of this boy!  He is such an awesome big brother, always kind (unless he's picking on them) to his little sisters, he's easy going and helpful.  He's got a great sense of humor and doesn't let others tell him what to think.  He has been a delight to raise, and I'm really struggling with this being his last year at home!  I'm so grateful that I got to be his mom, and have a front row seat watching him grow.

We lined up places for the girls to spend the day since nothing on the agenda would have interested them.  Iley packed up several dolls to take along.

First stop was a little restaurant in downtown CO springs that was featured on Diners Drive-ins and Dives that Troy had heard about.  They are famous for their huge cinnamon rolls.  They were ok, but didn't compare to cinnabon for us.

Next stop was Over Drive Raceway, an indoor go cart track for big kids ;)

He measures as an adult...........

Round two, because it was just too much fun.

Discussing the race.

Harrison's favorite restaurant for lunch.

Then on to a Rockies baseball game.

Never know what you will see...............

3 of my favorite males.  Would have loved to have had my other 2 boys and big girls with us!

What a fun day all planned by Troy for him.  Hope he had as much fun as we did spending it with him, and celebrating the wonderful person he is.
