Puting up the pool

We spent the day on Monday puting up the swimming pool.  The girls loved every stage and minute of it!  They "helped" sweep off the tarp, carry pieces to us, and generally make them selves a nuisance helpful.  But such CUTE help:)

We must have totally wore them out!  Last night was the first night that they slept ALL NIGHT with out waking up...... since the day we met!!.....which means that last night was the first night this mama has slept all night in 4-1/2 weeks too!  It's amazing how much better morning appears after a full nights sleep!  10:30 to 8:00am. ........SWEET!!!!! Ahhhhh!  Lets have a repeat!!!  My first concious thought this morning was THANKYOU LORD!!!!!  Not that I only sing praises to him after a full nights sleep......cause He's good at all times.........but.....this was sort of a spontaneous burst:):)  I love my sleep! maybe  it's an idol?  when I pray to tear every idol from me...............is this what it means???? YIKES!!!  Ok God......I LIKE my sleep:)  can I have it back now?  I'm finding that the same grumpy person that dealt with toddlers 6 years ago....is still alive and well at 2:30am......and 5:30am....  she shows up uninvited???  How rude!  sigh......

Daily Life in KS

My view from the kitchen.....sometimes It is still sort of surreal to see these little brown babies in my tub!  They had drained all the water out of the tub, but didn't want out??  Iley's lips are BLUE from being cold!

Professional noodle eaters!

 Cute hair.

Iley has an ouchie on her toe!!!  Wren loves to "pet" facial hair....she loves beards.LOL

Lazy Sunday afternoon.
Wren LOVES to be outside, and she LOVES playing in the water!  Iley on the other hand will happily watch out the window....like a cat....

Okay mom!  That's enough! What are you doing?  Just putting your cute face on the blog for interested persons:):) Hee Hee!
Initiating Micah (a family friend) into the world of 5 yr. old girls!LOL

 "helping" unload the "new" couch.

She woke up this morning in a pensive mood.  These are the times when the language barrier is so hard! I wish I could talk to her.  Was she missing her China mom?  Was she feeling sad? Did she not feel good?  Just tired? Feeling the lack of language?  Are some mornings hard cause everythings new again?
Don't ya just want to kiss that little face:)

While I was trying to figure Iley out.......I hadn't heard this one for a while.....she had found the ipad, turned it on, and was watching pink panther on utube!!!! She doesn't miss anything!  She's watched her big brothers get to pink panther, and remembered! Gonna have to keep a close eye on her....or hide the ipad!

HAPPY DAY!!!! We get to ride in the car!!! (with out seat belts....shhhh....just around the corner with Dad to get milk at the dairy.).

Hair is CUT!

Thanks everyone who voted!!!  It was fun to see what style everyone would pick.....but.....it wasn't much help cause you guys were all over the place!!!  Almost every style got  a vote:)LOL  SOOOO.... here's the final out come.
BEFORE

 AFTER!

Not a drastic change here, but definately shaped a little better.

These pictures were taken last night.....on the way to Hays to Wal-mart, and supper....and just to get out of the house!!!  We are trying to break them into carseats by regular Hays trips.  For entertainment, I rigged up a string between the two front seats and hung the Ipad on it. (I thought I was rather clever to think of it)  So Tom and Jerry entertained them the whole way there and back.  We couldn't figure out why Iley was determined to get two inches from the screen....then I checked the settings, and they could barely see it because it was so dark:(  I'm surprised they watched it at all.

Eating at Jalisco.  Thatcher and Kyndahl ate with us, they were in Hays picking up their "new" Goodwill couch:)  Their first purchase for their future home:)  The last time we ate at Jalisco was the day we arrived home with them!  They, and we enjoyed our food MUCH more this time!  Wren ate all of her half of the quesadilla, all of the enchilada, Iley wouldn't touch it!  She wanted it clear off her plate, thank you very much.   I had to give up most of my rice to them as well.

Kissin big sister kyndahl.
