Need Advice!

Ok, calling all parents of 3-6 year olds.....WHAT do your kids do to entertain themselves all day??  I need some suggestions of things they can do WITHOUT me......as in GO play.......or is this just wishful thinking?  I'm not saying they have to go FAR away from me......just not need my input every two to three minutes!
We have coloring books......not interested.....they have a play kitchen which they do play in some....dolls......not interested....legos, they play with some........sand box, won't go out without me or the boys, and we spend most of the time dumping sand out of their shoes....cause they won't go anywhere without their shoes........they play with play dough for a few minutes, but that always involves me as well......don't get me wrong, I'm ok with some togetherness....but I can't do this all day....lunch has to be fixed, and cleaned up.....supper fixed and cleaned up......laundry....some cleaning for decency's sake......

Now calling all Moms/Ladies...and men if you have good taste:).....I need some hair advice!  Wren has a MOP of hair!  It is beautiful.......when it is clean.......and combed.  BUT.....she HATES to have it combed, or allow me to put accesories in it.  It's a Daily battle.  Sooooo  what suggestions does anyone have for peace, and looking presentable?  This is her hair with nothing in it, and uncombed......which suits her fine, but drives me nuts.  It's always in her face, and in her food.

It also does NOT lay straight....  It has waves in the back. and is kind of fuzzy when she has slept on it.
Should I??  or would you just trim up the ends? Would you?? Which one would you pick??  Keep in mind that she has a very round face.  Please leave me your vote and comments, or suggestions, in the comments, or email me!  Thanks for your help!

Adventuring

Harrison (the normally elusive one with pictures) and I took the girls for a long walk out to the pasture.  We walked the cow trails,

and climbed in the cow feeders,

slid through the gap....because this is one mean gate!  It will jump on you, and kick you in the shins! and yes Harrison and I did a Houdini act and wiggled through too!

Climbed the gate.....just for the experience....
 Hi MOM!

ran down ......and up some hills....Had some disagreements on which direction we were going to walk....Wren wanted to go the other direction, but was out voted......this is her snit fit face!  Not nearly as hateful as sometimes!  This girl has the most angelic face......but boy does she have some cut you dead looks!!!  my oh my!

and this one has a few mean mugs too!

OH MY GOODNESS...we have an OUCHIE!!  SERIOUS i tell ya!
 worrying.........
 messing and worrying.......
Look Mom.....see it's awful! .....There IS a tiny dot on her thumb side if you look closely...
better, but still a big deal!
See my poor hand.....she wouldn't wash her hand all day.  Every time I would suggest it, she would look at me with horror and point to her band aid.
This water bottle is Wren's new favorite toy (it changes daily)  She wore it by the strap across her chest, and then wrapped the hose around and tucked it in the strap.  She figured out how to do that all by her stubborn determined little self.
We also took a long 4-wheeler ride with big sis Kyndahl.  I drove, the girls were in the middle, and Kyn sat on the back to make sure Wren they didn't stand up on the seat, or fall off.  Thanks Grandpa D. for letting us use your 4 wheeler!  We saw 8 BIG wild Turkeys and a deer on our journey.  Then jumped on the trampoline for a while.....then baths and bed.  Of course there was much play kitchen activity.....I ate enough brownies and cookies to make a person sick......they never seem to serve me veggies?? Maybe they DO know my appetite:)LOL

I want to but I won't

I think it would be funny to send these pictures and captions in with our Post Adoption reports....just because I think the whole thing is RIDICULOUS!  For the question what foods does your child like.......

Her favorite is the dogs food.....She hates fruits and vegetables.
How does your child feel about their adoption?

What type of chores is the child expected to do?    We've started them to work in the cabinet factory.

What are some indications that make you believe that your child is bonding and attaching to you?  Give examples.

These are the pictures you weed out normally, but I was amusing myself with what I wished I could write for the Post Adoption reports, because they annoy me no end....sorry GWCA:)  please don't turn me in to CCCWA!  They are really doing great:)  Please see the rest of the blog for the real picture:)

They are actually getting along here, I just caught them at a funny moment.

Cleaning up the  dog food that Wren decided to dump and douse with water.
Pushing them around on a cart in the cabinet door shop.

The way I move around the kitchen some days....has a way of slowing progress!
